The problem of youth unemployment is one of the key issues of development of every society and country. In this segment education and world of work meet in the most direct and visible way. Young people who leave school early are exposed to numerous risks and have poorer perspectives in terms of personal achievement, progress and prosperity. Low educated people are exposed to higher risks of unemployment, and unfavorable conditions of employment, they often get low-paying jobs and are exposed to conditions of social exclusion. The initiative to build capacity of young people, including those with fewer opportunities to upgrade, anticipate and match new skills is an important process in order to improve the level of competences. This will improve their flexibility and security in the labour market and stimulate their active participation in the social, economic and political life.
